BlockPI Network Works with Immunefi to Launch A Bug Bounty
Overview
We are glad to announce the launch of our bug bounty program with Web3’s leading bug bounty platform, Immunefi. Users and hackers can test out all of BlockPI’s current functionality and report any problems they encounter using the Immunefi platform.
We have collaborated with Immunefi to provide rewards to people who assist us with identifying any possible concerns, in keeping with our commitment to establishing a high performance and safe ecosystem for Web3 builders and users. Even though our services and infrastructure were tested and evaluated internally, the relationship with Immunefi will help us increase our quality and security and help us deliver on our promise of dependability, paving the way for the introduction of the more secure version of BlockPI.
Rewards by threat level
Rewards are distributed according to the impact of the vulnerability based on the Immunefi Vulnerability Severity Classification System V2.2. This is a simplified 5-level scale, with separate scales for websites/apps, smart contracts, and blockchains/DLTs, focusing on the impact of the vulnerability reported.
Websites and Applications
Critical — USD 15 000
High — USD 5 000
Medium — USD 2 000
Low — USD 1 000
All web/app bug reports must come with a PoC with an end-effect impacting an asset-in-scope and a suggestion for a fix in order to be considered for a reward. Explanations and statements are not accepted as PoC and code is required.
Payouts are handled by the BlockPI team directly and are denominated in USD. However, payouts are done in USDC.

How to Report Bugs
When a hacker hits the “Submit bug report” button on Immunefi’s BlockPI Bug Bounty Program page, they will be sent to bugs.immunefi.com which will guide them through the process of creating a bug report.
Here is a detailed article talking about how to report bugs on Immunefi: A Hacker’s Guide to Submitting Bugs on Immunefi.
About Immunefi
Immunefi is the premier bug bounty platform for smart contracts and DeFi projects, where security researchers review code, disclose vulnerabilities, get paid, and make crypto safer. Immunefi removes security risk through bug bounties and comprehensive security services.
Launched on December 9, 2020, Immunefi focused on blockchain and smart contract security. We provide bug bounty hosting, consultation, bug triaging, and program management services to blockchain and smart contract projects.
Bug bounty programs are open invitations to security researchers to discover and disclose potentially vulnerabilities in projects’ smart contracts and applications, thereby protecting projects and their users. For their good work, security researchers receive a reward based on the severity of the vulnerability, as determined by the project affected.
