BlockPI Updates: New Features and ERC-4337 Account Abstraction Services
BlockPI Service Updates
At BlockPI, we believe in the power of continuous improvement and innovation. Over the past months, we’ve been hard at work refining our platform, implementing dozens of upgrades to provide our users with the cutting-edge performance and reliability.
In addition, we have also introduced new features to enhance your user experience.
BlockPI API
To make accessing account information easier for our users, we have introduced the blockpi_ namespace in our API. With this update, users can now retrieve account information without the need to log in.
The first one is blockpi_ruBalance. By making a simple request, developers can use the blockpi_ruBalance to query the RU balance of their account using their existing API key under this account. Click here to check the details and the example.
Status page
We understand the importance of keeping developers informed about the network status and updates. To address this, we have developed a comprehensive status page that diligently tracks and communicates any concerns or disruptions related to BlockPI’s RPC services.
This includes both scheduled maintenance and unexpected outages. To stay up to date, we encourage you to subscribe to our updates and ensure that you never miss any important incident reports.
Network Page
As we continue to support additional blockchain networks, we have created dedicated pages for each blockchain. These pages provide information about the characteristics of each blockchain, including whether BlockPI supports Archive mode, AA services, or testnets.
ERC-4337 Account Abstraction
As a pioneer in blockchain infrastructure, BlockPI remains at the forefront of industry developments. We have been actively involved in the ERC-4337 Account Abstraction initiative and made significant progress in this field.
Research Article
In our initial research article, we delved into the various roles within the ERC-4337 ecosystem, providing detailed explanations of each role. Furthermore, we explored how a blockchain infrastructure provider like BlockPI can contribute to this new evolution and facilitate the widespread adoption of Account Abstraction. To read our research article titled “How to Empower Infrastructure to Service a Billion-Strong User Base with Account Abstraction,” please click here.
During our continued research, we encountered nonce collisions on the blockchain. To shed light on this issue and foster discussions, we published an article discussing nonce collisions, the current bundler ecosystem, and why must ERC4337 Bundlers work with block builders. To read our article titled “Why Must ERC-4337 Bundlers Work with Block Builders?”, please click here.
Additionally, we discovered a significant issue regarding the adoption of Account Abstraction — indexing UserOperations. To address this, we have developed an indexer that significantly improves the efficiency of indexing UserOperations, resulting in a boost of hundreds of times in performance. We have also made the client of this indexer open source. For more details and the download link, please click here.
Bundler services
As our first step into the world of Account Abstraction, we are pleased to introduce our Bundler Service for ERC4337 Account Abstraction on Base Mainnet, Polygon Mainnet, and Polygon Mumbai. To learn more about this service and start using it, please click here.

Supported Blockchain Networks
At BlockPI, we are committed to providing developers with more diverse and improved development experiences that cater to their specific requirements. To fulfill this commitment, we have expanded our support for blockchain networks and added more archive nodes over the past few years. We are thrilled to announce that we now support a total of 35 chains. For the latest full list of supported blockchains, please click here.
